Driving – Preparations for Winter Driving in a Nissan Figaro
Let’s be honest, the Figaro is in its element on those sun-drenched roof-down days. But blessed with fantastic heating, the car can still be great fun to drive on those cold clear winter days, and for the brave, with the roof down and bobble hats on!
However, cold conditions can play havoc with the car, so before you venture out, make sure you check out our page on preparing to drive in cold conditions.
- Check when the car was serviced last
- Check the battery condition, does the car start with the lights on
- Top up windscreen washer fluid with low temp mix 50/50
- Check and top up your engine coolant with antifreeze
- Check your tyre depth and the spare is inflated
- Clean your lights
- Wash your windscreen and wipers
- Prepare for longer journeys, and add some warm clothes
