Nissan Figaro Rice Crackers – Engineers create Figaro shaped Crackers

These Kaki-no-tane (“Kaki” means “Persimmon”, “no” means “of” and “tane” means “seed”) celebrate Nissan famous cars. The plastic can contains rice crackers shaped like a fruit persimmon seed and often sold with peanuts. Originally, the “Nissan Kaki-no-tane” project was created to help Nissan revitalize the region, because the mountains are symbolic of the area.

Interesting facts
If you look at the leaflet below you will see there are 23 different car shapes? The “23” is pronounced similar to “Nissan” in Japanese and very important to Nissan. “5523” means Go Go Nissan. “1123” means Good Nissan. Every year on November 23rd, Nissan fans post pictures of their cars on social media as part of “Good Nissan Day”.
