Bumpers – Stainless Steel Bumper Set

Manufactured by Garage FK10 these bumpers are made from 2mm 304-grade* stainless steel. All holes are designed to match the existing Nissan bumper fittings so it’s a case of removing your existing bumpers and fitting these (see fitting video below). These will NEVER RUST!

*304 stainless steel is used for a variety of household and industrial applications such as food handling and processing equipment, screws, machinery parts, utensils, and car headers.

ABOUT YOUR EXISTING NISSAN BUMPERS (AND WHY THEY DON’T LAST)
The bumpers fitted and sold by Nissan are manufactured from mild steel and coated with chrome plating to protect them. The reason why they rust so easily is that the chrome plating is only applied to the external area of the bumper (to save money). The inside has a think coat of black paint which even after a short time will start to rust due to water retention and dampness. Then the rust will work its way towards the surface of the outside creating a bubble in the chrome which and up falling off and exposing the unprotected metal to rust.

THE STAINLESS STEEL SET LOOKS IDENTICAL TO THE EXISTING BUMPERS

ARE THEY ANY HEAVIER
