Mia Braine – The Ultimate 25th Wedding Anniversary Gift!

In the town where we live, I have on occasion seen a Figaro, and I became slightly obsessed. Earlier this year we went to London for a week, and we saw three different Figaro’s, and I took photos of, and with two of them. The third one was being driven by a lovely lady and I had to stop and watch it for as long as I could see it.

Then, last Monday, I handed in my dissertation after four years of study, and I decided to go to York for the day on Tuesday. When I got back from York, my husband waited for me at the train station. He was standing next to a Topaz Mist Figaro. I thought it was the one I had seen in our town before, that just happened to be parked there at the time. So I went closer, had a look, and joked with him that if it was his car, he’d have been leaning on the bonnet. But that is when he got a key out of his pocket and gave it to me. At first, I just stared at him and couldn’t quite comprehend what was happening. Then he said that it is an anniversary gift, (we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary in November), and congratulations on completing my studies gift! I was totally blown away!

I never expected such a gorgeous gift and I am so blessed and happy. I haven’t stopped smiling since. Like most Figaro’s, she needs a bit of work doing, but that is all part of the experience.
