Ace Cafe London – Saturday 11th April 2015
72 Figs have a Figgytastic Time at the Ace
After a wet and windy start, the sun came out bang on the queue at 10.30 as cars started to arrive from around the UK and even Europe! Once squeezed in and pointing the right way members made their way to the club stand to sign in before heading for the cafe for a well-deserved bacon sarnie or full English breakfast! The club stand was busy throughout the day doing some brisk business almost selling out of T-Shirts and catching up with old friends. Toby and his team from the Figaro Shop had two displays, one showing a live demonstration of a roof fitting and the other stacked with Figaro goodies and accessories.
Every year our members show their immense generosity when it comes to ‘giving’ and this year was no exception raising a mind-blowing £1,000 for CLIC the Children’s Cancer Charity. This brings the amount raised since we started to a staggering £2,569.00 not bad for a little car club.
Thanks also to all the companies who supported the raffle by donating some wonderful prizes. With winners taking home a Figaro Watch, Clarion Upgrade, New Roof, Seat Restoration Kits, Service Kits and lots more…
Also congratulation to the following winners of our car competition …
