Clarion – CD/Tape/Radio wiring diagram

With the Clarion unit now over 30 years old, the electronics and wiring can become problematic. Often the unit may stop working completely but before you think it’s faulty, this could be down to the connections at the back of the unit.

How to check the connections?
Remove the unit and with a multimeter check pins 6 and 10 below. Make sure you turn the ignition key for pin 10. If you are not showing 12v then check the fuses.
