Clarion Media Player Support Ends

As you may recall, about a year ago, Clarion, the company that had been providing upgrades and support for the Figaro’s media unit, unfortunately, closed its doors. In its place, a new company, OEM Services, stepped in with the promise of providing the necessary support for our beloved vehicles. However, we understand that many of you have reached out to us expressing concerns about the level of service you’ve experienced with OEM Services. We genuinely empathise with your frustrations, and despite our best efforts to establish communication with them through multiple phone messages and emails, we have been unable to connect. In light of these challenges, we’ve made the difficult decision to remove OEM Services’ contact information from our website, as we are committed to ensuring that our members receive only the highest standards of service.

Not being able to get the Clarion unit repaired or even upgraded is a major blow to the Figaro community. Due to the age of the unit, it can only go downhill as electronic components, connectors, and PCB boards used within the units become brittle and can fail over time. This will force owners to make decisions regarding what it is they could fit in its place.

We are planning on updating our website and identifying products that may fit the bill.
