Scotland’s premier classic car show! We attended this fantastic event for the first time in 2023 and have pre-registered for 10 cars this year, although it may be possible to increase this if demand is higher. The show takes place on Sunday, June 8th, 2025; however, there is an optional ‘Scenic Drive’ through the Scottish Borders countryside on Saturday, June 7th.

Event Description
We have been invited to display our Figaros on a Club Stand at the 50th BVAC Classic at Thirlestane Castle, Lauder in the beautiful Scottish Borders. This is a large show focusing this year on the MGA (70 years old) and the MGF (30 years old) The show takes place on Sunday 8th June 2025 with an optional Scenic Run on Saturday 7th.

The Scenic Run is very popular, with limited numbers, so you must indicate when registering that you wish a place on the run – this cannot be guaranteed and will be confirmed nearer the event.

Notes
The £12 cost includes the car, driver, and any passengers. If you need an accommodation you will need to arrange this yourself – there is camping (non-serviced) at the show site and there is a private serviced site at Thirlestane Caravan and Camping site directly next to the show site (tel 01578 718884), however, I do know they are busy so it is advisable to contact them as soon as possible. There are B7Bs and Hotels in the area too.
