Paul comments…
‘Well what can i say , what a weekend , the sun shone on Friday , rained a little on the Saturday, Sunday it rained on us. But spirits were high. Bands played from 6.00 on Friday until Sunday, both in an outdoor marque and the clubhouse. Some brilliant bands including one who had an average age of 15, they were brilliant. Looney tunes were fantastic as usual. Fancy dress was brilliant this year. Our Sunday convoy was brilliant. We raised £170 from one single raffle on the Sunday. many thanks to all that came and those who donated prizes, thanks to Lucy Clapham for putting us in all the papers, thanks to looney tunes who headlined the festival and to mick from looney tunes who arranged all the bands for us. Thanks to Richard and our wives and my little billy for everything. Thanks to everyone for joining us to remember and celebrate Richard Turners life. Will post a link via newsletter.
