VIN – How to find your Nissan Figaro Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Video

Every car receives a unique code called a ‘Vehicle Identification Number’ when it’s manufactured. This serves as a car’s distinctive identifier or fingerprint. Nissan created a 10 digit code back in 1991 which starts with FK10-0XXXXX. The number appears twice on the car and once in your Log Book (V5C UK). When buying the car, take the logbook to the car and make sure all three numbers are the same. The engraving on the bulkhead is carried out to stop someone from simply swapping the plate! Club founder Kevin shows you how to find and check the details of your Figaros VIN.

The video also covers what the numbers engraved on the identification plate located in the engine bay mean. Useful to anyone buying the car or getting it valued for insurance purposes.
