James & Belinda Richardson – RNLI Fundraising Challenge
RNLI Fundraising Challenge
Club Members James & Belinda Richardson plan to visit all 238 lifeboat stations in 911 hours and try to raise £56,644 for the RNLI
To complete the challenge, the more observant of you will also notice that the couple have swapped their Pale Aqua Figaro named ‘Figgy’ for a slightly quicker car.
In fact it’s a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet with all wheel drive and steer. The car has also been painted Lava Orange (to match the lifeboats). Features include park assist and most importantly a front axle lift for getting on and off the ferries!
Performance is also a little bit faster than they are used too with a 0-62mph of 4.4 seconds from a 420hp lump. The Porsche 911 (hence the target time of 911 hours), starting from Teddington RNLI Station at 9:11am on August 23.
