We return to the beautiful island of Jersey in the Channel Islands for our annual club rally. It was 6 years ago when we last visited this historical and truly stunning place that’s small on size, but big on personality. The roads are made for our little cars and being quiet are perfect for some awesome country and seaside convoys. Oh and remember the island’s speed limit is set to 40 mph / 64 km per hour, perfect for our Figs!

Our Venue Hotel
Our Venue Hotel has been run by Matthew & Jonathan Smale (Figaro Owner & Club Member) since 1985 and owned by the family for over 50 years.

Set in five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the outskirts of Saint Helier, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet only five minutes drive from the town centre and the vibrant village of Saint Aubin is also only 5 minutes away.

There is still much to organise and arrange but below is a flavour of our Itinerary.

WEDNESDAY 16^th May

Fast Ferry (Condor) from Poole/UK (4 hours, Departs Poole 12.30 – Arrives Jersey 17.10)
OR
Fast Ferry (Condor) from St Malo/France (20 Mins, Departs 08.00/17.15 – Arrives Jersey 08.20/17.35)
We exit the Ferry and drive in convoy to the Westhill Country Hotel. In the evening we will get together for ‘Welcome Drinks’ served in the Sun-Down Bar (complements of the hotel).

A Welcome Dinner will then be followed by in-house entertainment and the issuing of your rally packs.

THURSDAY 17^th May

Magical Mystery Tour – Part 1
With routes in your hands, we exit the Hotel in convoy and follow the owner of the Hotel John Smale who will lead a ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ around the Island taking in some stunning scenery and parking our Figs at pre-organised parking locations.

We will be stopping at some stunning beach cafes and chic restaurants for Coffee/Tea & Lunch.

Optional Dinning* in “The View” Restaurant
Depending on your accommodation booking you may wish to join us for dinner at the hotel.

Ten Pin Bowling!
We thought it would be fun to go bowling so will organise a Group Booking. Maybe we can divide into Car Colour Teams! MFA Bowl Jersey is the island’s only indoor tenpin bowling center. Equipped with 18 lanes with automated scoring system, arcade games including pool tables.

FRIDAY 18^th May

You have a choice to go on our Jersey Scavenger Hunt or do your own thing?

Jersey Scavenger Hunt
We will be issuing a clue sheet on the day and send you on your way. You will be required to answer questions along the way, whilst hoping not to be seen by everyone else (which might be difficult in your Figaro)! Prizes for the top score will be awarded on our final evening.

Do your own thing
Why not go and explore the Jersey National Park? The Park extends over an area of approximately 30 miles (48km) of Jersey’s coastline, Les Écréhous, Les Minquiers and Pierres de Lecq or Paternosters. Here is a downloadable map of things to explore, places to eat and activities to enjoy in and around the Jersey National Park.

SATURDAY 19th May

Hair Raising – Wear a Wig/Hat Day!
To apply a twist to the day we thought it would be great fun for everyone to wear a wig/hat today! Imagine the fun we will have, waving to everyone with our roof’s down wearing our wigs. A prize will be given for the best one tonight at our Farewell Dinner.

Magical Mystery Tour – Part 2
Our second day of exploring this truly spectacular island is again led John. Today we will be taking our Figs to some stunning locations. We will be stopping again at some more beach cafes and restaurants for Coffee/Tea & Lunch.

Farewell Dinner will be followed by a presentation of Awards and a Quiz in the Sun-Down Bar

SUNDAY 20th May

Our last day gives you the morning to go off on your own to do some last minute shopping or exploring before joining us for a last convoy to the ferry port.

EXTEND YOUR TRIP
If you wish to, you could always ‘extend your stay’ by arriving before the rally or leaving later! You could also explore Guernsey on your way out or back?

There are 4 stages to complete to book the rally. If you do not required accommodation or ferry then just complete Stage 1 & Stage 4
