SAVE ANOTHER FIGARO
One of the things that appears to be happening is that more and more cars are now ending up being broken for parts. The motivation for doing this is obvious as the sum of parts is often worth more than the car itself. The long-term outcome will be fewer cars which effectively means higher prices. We get it and we can see why this happens and it’s normally a result of a failed MOT leading to expensive repair pressures on owners who simply do not have the money to throw at it. It is a complex subject and there is no easy answer but we reach out to everyone to try our best to steer the conversation (especially on social networks) to saving the car rather than breaking it up.
