September & October 2020 Newsletter

Yesterday, Sue and I spent the day at Walton Hall Hotel & Spa, Wellesbourne, the venue for next years 30th Birthday Party over the weekend of the 26/27th June 2021. The visit was the first of a number of planning meetings to create the weekend. One of the fun parts which we needed to sort out was the Figgy Convoy Drive Out. I’d created the route at home using Google Maps so we went to physically test drive it. To spice things up we are thinking of sending the car colour groups out in opposite directions. This then creates a ‘cross-over point’ where everyone will meet each other going the other way and provide a truly memorable sight, so it will be cameras at the ready!
